August 14, 2010Today we drove from Klamath Falls, OR. to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The drive to the park was about 3 hours and went well, except for the agriculture inspection guy who wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that his co-worker already waved us through. We collected for a few hours in the park and then decided to take a hike in the southern side of the park. The hike was a 3 mile hike to King Creek Falls and took us just under 2 hours round trip. We walked though a field with lots of yellow flowers and the smell was nice, the kind you want to bottle up for a candle.
