Today was full of fixing the truck, heat and getting dirty. Our goal was to calibrate our computer systems, which has to be done every few months but did it didn't go as planned. A few months back we had an isolator go bad that allowed us to plug the truck into a wall outlet to make the computers work rather than get power from the engine. Knowing the isolator was bad we had a back up plan but the back up plan didn't work as we thought it would so calibrating took us 6 hours rather than one hour. We also had to change an alternator belt which is a really difficult and dirty job on our truck. It is really humid here so even when you are standing around you are literally dripping. It was a long day and now it is raining...down pouring actually. Looks like we will be in this town longer than we had hoped. I'm sure tomorrow will be more productive for us :).
